Located in Emerald Hill the Incubator currently includes:
• spaces for training, meetings and business skills development
• office / desk space for ‘resident’ clients
• rehearsal space
Mission:
To help build sustainable creative businesses by giving independent artists and small & medium arts organisations the business, marketing and audience development skills necessary to thrive in a competitive market place,through a sustained one-on-one coaching relationship.
The Incubator is a
• physical place for offices, training rooms and a rehearsal hall,
• a network for the independent sector of the creative industry
• and an arts service organisation.
The staff includes:
an Executive Director / Mentor Coach,
an Administrator / Coach,
and a principal social marketing and IT coach.
In addition the core team utilise a network of mentors and coaches to deliver highly specialised training when required.
The training encompasses skills & strategies for artists / arts businesses, including:
Marketing (including social media)
Financial Management and literacy
Small Business Skills,
Strategic and Business Plans (Long-range and annual planning)
Corporate Structure (including not-for-profit incorporation)
